Transformation… Week 08

a Moment for Wisdom…

a Moment for…

Transformation

“… we must create a constant high frequency wave for peace.  No one group or religion can accomplish this. It will take all of us working together.

We do not need to alter our spiritual beliefs or practices. On the contrary, we need to strengthen them. To create the World that we want to put in place for our descendants for the next 5,125 years, we need to join hands with our neighbors and honor their beliefs and practices for peace and together generate a constant frequency for peace from now until December 2012.

Personal Wisdom:

What are your experiences in reaching out to people whose thoughts and beliefs are different from your own?

Societal Wisdom:

What would your society look like if it had a “constant high frequency wave for peace”?

a Moment with Sharif…

Greetings;

What Mayan elder Ac Tah has to say is so important, I will “yield” my time here to present more of his ideas (via his translator):

We are at the end of a 5,125 year galactic cycle, in which Earth and everything on it is undergoing a complete energetic change to a higher frequency level.  This cycle ended in 1992 and the new one will begin at the end of 2012. The twenty year period between 1992 and 2012 is what the Maya described as “no time”. We have now arrived at the end of “no time” with only months not years remaining until December 2012.

Ac Tah talked about the weakening of the Earth’s electromagnetic field. He said that Earth is being bombarded by increasingly potent solar flares, along with high intensity energies that are arriving daily from the center of our galaxy.  Global warming, earthquakes, extreme weather fluctuations are all a direct result of this as well as the mental, emotional and social instability in the people on the planet at this time.

Mankind is not being confronted with destruction and extinction, but rather a great opportunity and responsibility to create the energetic template for mankind for the next 5,125 years. What does this mean? Earth is about to be hit with a high frequency wave of energy that only arrives every 5,125 years. The Maya refer to this as the return
of Hunab Ku.  This all powerful energy is neutral and will flow into and enable the collective human consciousness that is present when it arrives. This will set the
frequency of intention or template for human development for the next 5,125 year cycle.

We hold the future of this next cycle in our hands. Peace or aggression. There are those FEW people who want and feel they will benefit from sustaining a World of aggression. Yet there are MANY people who want and are working to create peace in the World.  Surely if this energetic waves arrived to our planet today we will enter the much talked about Age of Enlightenment.  Ac Tah says no! Why not you ask? Because the FEW people working for aggression in our World are working non-stop, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, in unity with each other. While we the many are not in unity with one another and may be working only an hour a day or week to be focused on peace. In other words, a World day of meditation for peace once a month by many people is no match for a few people who plan and plot aggression twenty-four hours every day of the month.

Ac Tah gives us a solution. He said that we must create a constant high frequency wave for peace. He said that no one group or religion can accomplish this. That it will take all of us working together.  We do not need to alter our spiritual beliefs or practices. On the contrary we need to strengthen them. To create the World that we want to put in place for our descendants for the next 5,125 years, we need to join hands with our neighbors and honor their beliefs and practices for peace and together generate a constant frequency for peace from now until December 2012.

We are all on the same frequency.

On one of Ac Tah’s video interviews, he speaks of the coming together of all of the spiritual traditions, what I call the “Common Faith”.  He refers to this coming together of wisdom traditions as a “collage of knowingness”.  What a great, elegant view!  (Better than my “cosmic jigsaw puzzle”.)

We are all familiar with the Margaret Mead quote about the world transforming through the efforts of “a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens”.  That’s true.  Our problem is that we’ve got very, very large groups of good-hearted but only sporadically involved people.  Good hearts and no discipline.  Wanting peace… but not willing (or able) to invest any significant time, money or energy.

Ac Tah says that, one way or another, this will change.  Time to practice!

Peace,

Sharif

Transformation Exercises:

This week’s “Transformation” exercise:  If you have a regular “job”, you spend up to HALF of your waking life supporting and strengthening Breaker society.  Add to that your “regular” social activities, and even your “regular” protests and activism!  (As I’ve said many times before: protesting or supporting the mainstream political parties and the media-fed “issues” is direct support for the status quo.)

  1. In this week’s exercise, add up the average amount of time you spend in activities that support and strengthen the status quo.
  2. Next, add up the average amount of time you spend in activities that are neutral to the status quo, or you are uncertain about.
  3. Then, add up the average amount of time you spend in activities that support and strengthen a world that works for all.
  4. One year from now: how do you intend those numbers to be different?
  5. What would it take for you to work 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for a world that works for all?  If money were not an issue, would you do that?
  6. What are the systems and structures that you would create to support and/or catalyze a world for all?

You keep asking what each one of us is doing to create the world that works for all but, what are we doing collectively. The only way to do what you are suggesting is to create relationships. My church has a program called Peace Camp that teaches children in our church and in the surrounding community about peace. I have given money to support this program. Does that count and doing something for a world that works for all?

    • Sharif says:

      Greetings;

Of course it “counts”! What counts is our intention.

Giving money to a peace program is a worthwhile activity. Giving money AND teaching in the program is even more beneficial. Building relationships with the young ones will help the children and — will help you. A great opportunity to practice your Praxis lessons!

Right now, I’m writing this from the Berrett-Kohler “Author’s Retreat” in California. The mission statement of Berrett-Kohler Publishers is “Creating a World That Works for All”. (Took it from my book!) I was just talking to Steve Piersanti, the President, a few hours ago. He was sharing with me one of his driving questions: “How can we work BETTER to create a world that works for all?”

By asking these questions, we help give shape to a future that works for all beings. Keep asking!

      Peace,

      Sharif
