25 May: “Death, Dying, Grief and Suffering”
In our dysfunctional, soul-starved societies, the attention of most people is firmly rooted on meaningless trivia… most people are unprepared to deal with the important matters of our lives – birth and death, love and grief, the health of our communities and society.
Our inability to deal with matters of importance is the source of our societal addictions. Some believe that we should not talk about these things – that it is “negative” or “depressing”. But… name one person who will not experience these four states? Ignoring them means ignoring LIFE.
In Commonway Praxis, we have an additional responsibility: since we know turbulence is coming, people will be turning to US for help, support and understanding. Let’s get ready!
