a Moment for Wisdom…

.

DAILY WISDOM:

Touch Drawing 01

As long as the Earth can make a Spring every year, I can.

As long as the Earth can flower and produce nurturing fruit, I can…

because I’m the Earth.

I won’t give up until the Earth gives up.

Personal Wisdom:

When and where do you experience your own personal “Winter”?

What for you brings out your “Spring”?

What is your “nurturing fruit”?  How do you share that fruit with the world?

a Moment with Sharif…

Greetings;

I said that I was taking the week off… I am, but I wanted to send this out to you to let you know that cyber-problems have been fixed… expect more offerings on Sunday or Monday coming.

This past weekend was one of those “what else can go wrong?” moments for me.  Coming days before my birthday (the big “60”, on 24 March), it was especially daunting to be faced with multiple crises — some technological, some personal, all unpleasant.

When I reflect on Alice Walker’s statement, it is not only “hopeful”, but makes me feel SOLID. Reminds me of the African proverb: “Fall down seven times.  Stand up eight.”

Yes, I was in Winter… but there is ALWAYS SPRING!

Peace,

Sharif
